If your installers tell you that they are on an exemption this is ILLEGAL. Only the owner of the screen company can be exempt, all other installers must be covered under workers compensation insurance.
Warranty
A top screen repair company should have a warranty of at least 5 years, preferably 10. Did you know that legally every company in the state of Florida has to warranty their work for 1 year from the date of installation? What does that mean? If the screen repair company you are looking at doesn't have at least a 1 year warranty they do not know Florida statutes and likely are not compliant.
Payment Systems
Top Screen repair companies will be able to accept payment via check, cash, or credit card. If you are looking at paying for a screen repair and the installer says they "only accept cash," or "we only accept checks,"... they likely aren't a very well established company!
